ST. PAUL -- Alphabetically blessed Alabama is scheduled to lead off the roll call of the states tonight at the GOP convention.

U.S. Rep. Spencer Bachus, R-Vestavia Hills, and a McCain adviser will represent the state at the microphone on the convention floor and announce all 48 delegates are voting for Sen. John McCain.

The roll call begins around 10 p.m. central time, after the speech by Vice Presidential nominee Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska.
