what struck me about last night's convention audience...
it was a sea of whiteness.

2. Yep, a roomful of white, old, scared, stupid people.
The smell in there must be something to behold.

3. You missed the 36 black delegates so few they wouldn't stand out
at the KKK convention.

4. Republican Conventions
are always very white. And mostly male. Don't know if you have ever watched any others (and that's not a slam, I simply don't know) but ever since the mid 70's the huge difference between the DNC and the RNC has been the difference in diversity.

Last week several posters here seemed to think that the MSM had gone out of its way to show racial, ethnic, and age diversity at the DNC, and I posted several times that no, the Democrats are like that. They have very specific rules about delegate selection that insure the diversity. And I said just wait until next week and all you'll see are middle aged white people.

If it's possible to find footage from earlier conventions, you'll see the exact same differences, going back at least thirty years.

6. That is SUCH an unfair characterization
because it was also a sea of empty seats.
