I have to tell y'all what my 14 year old daughter said about the convention.
She hasn't seen a single moment of the RNC and I asked her to turn it over to it, just so I could see if they tamed down Palin's hair. So it stayed on the convention for about four minutes, and she said "it's a bunch of old white people. Can I turn it back to Run's House now?" I said yes.

1. The turn back was an excellent programming decision and
some damned fine parenting, too.

6. LOL, when she asked what the baby's name was
I said "Trig" and she looked at me with big eyes. "Like...trigonometry?" she said. No, I think like...Trigger. Now she looked even more incredulous. "LIKE A PONY?"

Barack Obama is going to be the 44th president of the United States. Can I go to bed now? I said yes, and yes (and couldn't be more proud).
