David Brooks "She surpassed all expectations"
Very likable in how she went after Obama. What a surprise. Gwen Ifill seems filled with disgust.

5. Shields was obviously digusted - said he was amazed she mentioned Bridge to Nowhere...
since she has already been busted on that, and it opened up a future shitstorm.

6. Brooks is a goofball. He's a puppy. He just can't do enough quick enough
for his corporate masters.

7. She didn't introduce herself very well
Her speech made it clear the GOP hates Obama, tell us something we don't know.

10. Brooks was also the only talking head who didn't like Obama's speech. Said he was "underwhelmed."

Harkened back to Harry Truman, who she evokes. Thanks David.

14. Nothing was expected of her.
No wonder Brooksie said she surpassed them. The repukes said she hit it out of the park, but I think she popped out to short right. It's very easy to hit the ball out of the park when they pull the fences in 300 feet.
