21. Romney is so fake looking but Rudy, his appearance really doesn't help him at all.
i know that's some pwtty and superficial stuff but he's just really unattractive and when you add the arrogance and the lips, well, you know.

16. I will bet they lost more than a few....
and I will bet they are all women. In general, she personifies all that most women hate in another woman.

this would have lost me. Not to mention her stance on abortion. This woman is dangerous.

6. I agree
when I watched the convention last time...they said things about kerry that worried me. Nothing made me say oh oh...and the tone of her speech was more them against us...I think they underestimate how sick of this shit most of us are.

8. well she might have given the security moms pause for thought
Not hand wringing, just saying she's going the fear, terra, fear route and that attacts the easily scared. Hence Bush's 2004 steal.

10. That was my thought as well... Independents won't be taken in by Palin...
... just wait until the truth leaks out on issues they care about --like Mayor Palin leaving the town $22mil in debt and she claims Executive Experience.

12. How Do You Preach Bi-Partisanship and Trash Liberals All At Once? Huh?
Of course, Big Media did not mention the inherent tension is bragging about working across party lines, then trashing "liberals," the "left," and various members of the Democratic party that most Americans do not know. Since when was Harry Reid a household name? If you really are an independent or swing voter, you are saying, "Harry who?"

20. Nor do I
That was a pretty ugly spectacle they made of themselves.

They said nothing that even hinted that other parties existed or that they cared about what they thought.

I guess their republican hats are back on.

From a world view it had to be embarrassing, scary and shameful.

22. People want answers, they want change
There was nothing in that speech for people who are unhappy with Bush. She is just getting the base fired up. We need to push McCain over to the right wing and swoop the middle for ourselves.
