Is the NY DAILY NEWS implying that Daryn Kagan (CNN) is dating Rush?

PARTY PEOPLE: Talk about a power dinner. Rush Limbaugh, Peggy Noonan and Matt Drudge - Republican sympathizers all - hosted a glittering affair at Patsy's last night, headlined by Vice President Dick Cheney and wife Lynne, Gov. Pataki and wife Libby, Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie, Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) and the ubiquitous Mary Matalin (sans her Democratic firebrand husband, Ragin' Cajun James Carville). A restaurant source told me that a surprised guest was CNN anchor Daryn Kagan, who I hear is friendly with recently separated fellow broadcaster Limbaugh.

Lets put politics aside, Kagan is a beautiful woman and she could do much better, even in Republican circles.

I watch admittedly too much cable news, but I've never seen Daryn Kagan on CNN. Probably just luck, really, but it's hard to share contempt for her since I've never witnessed her particular brand of media spin.

I have, however, seen Carol Lin. There's a woman with a future at Fox News.

I've watched her morph into the worst kind of news anchor over the past year. She never used to be that bad, but these days, she can barely contain her contempt for all things liberal, progressive, and democratic.

I hope she and PigBoy have a very happy ten years together.
