5. It's the LINK channel 375 on my set
This channel apeared on Direct TV a few months ago. They had a great show (Palpst's) on the Fla 2000 recount. They have a bunch of foreign brodcasts (News, Music, etc).

PS Check out the next channel (376), the NASA channel. Great stuff video, press conf, etc. Also they have daily mission updates from the International Space Station wich include some fantastic orbital shot of the Earth...(turn off the sound, turn out the lights, and enjoy)

8. Yeah Link TV shows some good documentaries
like Control Room...the documentary about Aljazeera. Also, that documentary about the Project Artichoke and the death of Frank Olsen was very good but freaky. I also recommend the documentary: "Israel's secret weapon" which covers the nuclear facility at Dimona and Mordachai Vanunu (sp ?). I like to watch Mosaic which shows news broadcasts from broadcasters all over the Middle East because I like to see what's broadcast in the Middle East.

I've been so stressed since 2000. I was planning to take this week off from politics and maybe clean or doing something fun.

Sometimes, I wonder if I wasn't better off not knowing. But, it's too late to turn back now.

17. Now I have two reasons for having Direct (personally)
I never watch it otherwise, but now I got a new show to tune in. I tell my wife and kids they are being brainwashed watching that crap, but they never believe me.

We Picked up Direct last month for NFL Sunday ticket which we all figured was well worth the cost with us 3 football fans in the house (cable was also ripping us off, so what's the difference)

The mass of humanity might not of got any idea what plurality or democracy was all about with out kings abusing their power, Murdoch and his minions will probably get greedy more sooner than later (some accounts have them already doing that)

This story got scrubbed but i found it on cache

The race is on for 24-7
Networks rush to establish reality channel
By DAVID BAUDER
Associated Press
(snip)
Fox Reality has the edge, said Larry Gerbrandt, a media analyst for AlixPartners LLC.

Fox's parent, News Corp., owns Direct TV, so it's likely that satellite provider will offer Fox Reality from its beginning. News Corp. is a behemoth in the industry, with a formidable track record of starting successful networks like the National Geographic Channel, Fuel and the Speed Channel.

"I think it gives us a pretty good advantage," Vinciquerra said.

While Fox's huge library of reality material also gives Fox Reality a step up, News Corp.'s size may work against it in acquiring other material. CBS or NBC, for instance, might be reluctant to sell rights to its series to a competitor.

18. Wow thanks for the heads up!
I would have never seen that bone-head Senator from NC saying

This city is under attack...it's under siege. (then later) I love free speach, I'm all for free speach...but there's a time and a place for free speach"

19. I Told Direct I Switched To Dish For DN & Link TV
Maybe they actually listened if that programming is on now, but also, I don't want to support Rupert Murdoch if there's an alternative.
