My message from Zell Miller asking me to vote for Bush!
<this makes me puke>

Dear XXX,

I'm a Democrat. I went to my first political convention in 1972 as a Scoop Jackson Democrat - pro defense. Twelve years ago, I left my home in the mountains of North Georgia on a trip to New York. That trip culminated with a keynote address to the National Convention of a political party. But despite my Georgia roots, and despite my conservative beliefs, it was not the Republican National Convention, it was the Democrats.

In just two days, I will speak again in New York, but this time the party is the Republicans, and this time the candidate is George W. Bush. While much has changed in the last 12 years, my Party has not. I'm still a Democrat, and I support the President.

Will you show your support? Will you contribute at www.GeorgeWBush.com/ZellMiller

I have been asked many times why I, and so many other Democrats, support President Bush. The answer is simple - he is the right man to lead our nation at this time.

I have also been asked why I don't support John Kerry. That answer is also simple - you can't make a chicken swim and you can't make John Kerry anything but an out-of-touch ultra liberal from Massachusetts.

The Democratic Party today has drifted far, far to the left and they have become completely beholden to the various left-leaning, liberal special interest groups for whom they depend upon for money and for manpower.

I choose instead to support the President. Will you join me? Will you give $1,000, $500, $250, $100, or even $50 to help the President's campaign? www.GeorgeWBush.com/ZellMiller

There are many Democrats like me, Democrats who believe in a strong military, and giving our military what it needs to get the job done.

When the Democrats met in Boston, they talked a lot about John Kerry's service in Vietnam, but barely even mentioned his 20 years in the Senate.

Let me say as clearly as I can, what Lieutenant John Kerry did in Vietnam, is to be praised, and we should thank him for it every day, but not his shameful record on national defense as a U.S. Senator. And not for voting to send our troops to war, but against the $87 billion to give them the equipment to fight that war.

I am honored to be speaking in New York, and I am proud to be a Democrat. Mostly, I am proud to support President George W Bush. I hope you will join me.

www.GeorgeWBush.com/ZellMiller

Sincerely,

Sen. Zell Miller
D-Georgia

2. Well

The Democratic Party today has drifted far, far to the left and they have become completely beholden to the various left-leaning, liberal special interest groups for whom they depend upon for money and for manpower.

Who are they? And is the Republican party now beholden to the various right-leaning, Conservative special interest groups for whom they depend upon for money and for manpower?

Miller calling himself a Democrat is utter bullshit.

5. Miller's email
Anybody got his e-mail address? I would just love to response to his letter. I feel sure he would love to hear from me about my views on Bush and why I think both Bush and Zell Miller are traitors to the soldiers, Americans and the Democratic Party.

Don't you think everyone should share with good ol' Zell?

I am over this man. I am sick of the hoopla surrounding his defection. He claims that he's the only real Democrat left and this is the only way he can help his party. To quote a real Democrats -"Let's get real here"

Don't waste your time writing to him. I've written well thought out, polite notes for years and have never received a response. Take the time that you were going to use writing to this idiot and spend it knocking on a door talking face to face with someone who is going to vote in November or writing a letter to the editor of your local paper talking about why you are a Democrat and why it's important to put a Dem in the White House and give them control of Congress.

Zell isn't worth your time. Take it from someone who knows.

14. Dear Zell,
As a Democrat who didn't have to wait until I was in middle-age as you were to become a Democrat, and having been a proud one longer than you have, I'm glad to see you have finally proved you were never a Democrat to begin with...strictly an opportunist.

Guess you didn't the the payoffs or the stroking you wanted, and when the good 'ole boys started playin' on ya (since they knew you were so weakly principled you could be bought), you didn't sell out Democratic principles...you never had 'em.

Instead, Mr. Zell you are now in political limbo. The Zell Miller wing of the Democrat party was driven out and to the Repugnicans in Nixon's Southern strategy...you were just too stupid to realize it. Actually it wasn't stupid, you wanted power and being a Democrat got that for you...now that the Repugnicans have cornered the racist market, you want a piece of that action, too.

Sir, I will be gladly making a donation IN YOUR NAME to several REAL southern Democrats. Enjoy your stay with the Repugnicans who will toss you out like yesterday's trash after the Convention. Enjoy your oblivion...you've worked hard to bury yourself in it.

15. Why does he think Republicans
have such a monopoly on National Security/Defense? I'm not buying what they've been selling on that and don't understand why other people do.
