Delegates everywhere. Can't hold my tongue
I work in midtown Manhattan. Just went to lunch and walked out with my office manager and had just finished telling her my Gergen/delegate story from this morning. So she immediately spots two delegates and says "There's 2 more! Go get them!"

As if I needed an invitation. Sure enough 2 spiffy little GOP delegates crossing the street coming straight at me. They get within 3 feet -- I say loudly in their faces "Bush is a Liar!" The male mumbles something, female just glares. I swear these people have NEVER heard anyone say anything like that. At least from their reactions. They don't seem to have a ready come back.

Minutes later, guy in a bad seer sucker suit, on his cell phone. "Bush is a liar!" He covers the mouthpiece, "4 more years" I ask "of lies?" He goes back to the call.

In front of the 21 Club - delegate city but badass looking security guys with 20 inch necks, sweating in the sun. Unhappy looking. But down the block a lost little sheep in a $3000 suit on a cellphone of course. I get behind him "Bush is a Liar!" loud enough that it goes over his phone. He turns and moves back toward the security guys.

Headed back here, women are in the street handing out CNN fans?! WTF? Are they actually courting GOP delegates! As if to say "we are here to kiss your asses" I took one. May make a parody version out of it. I can't wait till after work! Who knew that speaking truth to dandied up stooges was such fun. (ok, Bleacher7 knew but it was subposed to be rhetorical)

4. Good for you, Kurt!
Go get 'em! :bounce:

I think it's hilarious that they have no comebacks when confronted. Did they honestly think they would be able to walk around and no one would say anything to them?? LOL!

5. They are wearing red cards around their necks
And you can spot some that aren't. The city has thinned out so in midtown it is pretty much just some tourists with bad timing, workers who didn't leave, cops and delegates.

7. I'm biting my tongue
right the F off.
However, Bush's latest gaffe: "we can't win the war on terror", will be used against them- so I will say: "Kerry can win the war on terror!"
and leave it at that.

11. Gergen was waiting outside of CNN's fishbowl here
to interview some delegate. I got right up on the both of them "Bush is a Liar!" Same non-reaction. I kept walking but looked back. They had stopped talking and were just staring at me like I was an alien.

10. Why won't these punkass delegates come downtown
I'd love to spend my lunch break in a similar fashion, but I ain't seen a one of these scumbags in Lower Manhattan. And they sure as hell ain't bringing they show to Brooklyn, so I can only get 'em during work. Shitsky.

16. Nah
Ground Zero is a couple of blocks away. Maybe I'll walk up after work.

These assholes are dancing jigs on our graves. They are a despicable lot of vultures, and they're gonna hear from me.

We asked for signs
the signs were sent:
the birth betrayed
the marriage spent
Yeah the widowhood
of every government --
signs for all to see.

I can't run no more
with that lawless crowd
while the killers in high places
say their prayers out loud.
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
a thundercloud
and they're going to hear from me.

Note the "woman" in the middle of the (mostly fluff) video clip. Husky voice and scarf covering adams apple = ??

18. WONDERFUL
that you are giving them a dose of reality. They are able to strut around where I live with their nasty bumperstickers and yard signs like they are 'cock of the walk' and since they out number the Democrats here(in a repuke burb of Los Angeles county where I am) they are really arrogant. I'm so glad to see you and anyone else who 'sticks it to em' in NY letting them know that they and their lying 'leader' don't fool everyone. :yourock:
