Face to Face Politics
Many convention delegates are surprised when they meet New Yorkers face to face. Maybe it's the first time they've heard it's tacky for them to exploit September 11th.

It's not an intrusion. The only way to speak to the delegates is to meet them on the street. Nevertheless, the police are using mass arrests to protect the delegates from being told they're not welcome.

There's no right to privacy on a public street. If you have a pudgy, contented, Republican look and you're wearing a Bush/Cheney button, you're fair game! Nobody has to be nice to you.
