Bush Is Too Nuanced! He Says "We Can't Win War On Terror".

Of course we all know the war on terror is like a war on drugs.

But Bush & the GOP make it a habit to decry Kerry as "too nuanced".

Who is nuanced now?

Democrats Decry Bush Comments on Terror

NEW YORK -- Democrats criticized President Bush's record on national security and military matters Monday,
seizing on the president's comment that he doesn't think the fight against terrorism can be won.

"I don't think you can win it," Bush said on NBC's "Today," when asked, "can we win" the war on terror.
"But I think you can create conditions so that the -- those who use terror as a tool are -- less acceptable in
parts of the world."

Democrats responded quickly at a morning briefing a half-dozen blocks from the Republican National
Convention.

"I decided a year ago that he cannot win the war on terror," Gen. Merrill McPeak, a John Kerry supporter,
said of Bush.

How can Americans ever win the War on Terror when the US military is the greatest purveyor of terrorism in the world?

But we can create conditions so that enough Democrats votes don't get counted."

Friday, 27-Aug-2004 (Daily Times ):

Bush:

We have got a job to do and that's to defeat terror,"

I told him my prayers are with his people. I told him we would work with him to defeat terror,"

Sept 11, 2001 (Statement by the President in His Address to the Nation):

Bush:

"America and our friends and allies join with all those who want peace and security in the world, and we stand together to win the war against terrorism."

Aug 30, 2004:

Bush:

"I don't think you can win it," Bush said on NBC's "Today," when asked, "can we win" the war on terror.
"But I think you can create conditions so that the -- those who use terror as a tool are -- less acceptable in
parts of the world."

What a despicable LOSER.

7. FLIP FLOPPER in CHIEF
I'm glad that Edwards is already jumping on Dubya's poor choice of words.

I'd love to hear Kerry say "Well Mr Bush, if you don't believe the war on terror can be won, get out of the way BECAUSE WE DO and we WILL WIN THIS WAR!"
