Fred Thompson lied and said McCondo couldn't salute because of his injuries from Vietnam
which apparently is a great big fucking lie.. because the video they showed before McCondo's speech showed him saluting the flag twice without any problems at all. Apparently, he was much more limber in his 40's than he is now in his 70's.

2. He's straining a bit in that one. The pics they showed in his video had him saluting normally
without any strain at all. maybe he's gotten arthritis in his old age.
