Florida Poll finds Bush favored on war on terrorism and Iraq.
I fucking quit. I can't fucking stand it. This poll has bush over taking Kerry 48- 46 percent WITH, and this is the part that kills me,

Voters think Bush will do a better job against terrorism 53 to 34 % and bush will "manage the situation in Iraq better than Kerry 54 to 34 percent.

It's over, the country is inhabited by morons. How the hell can Kerry win if voters in Florida (and the rest of this stupid country) think that shithead in the white House is "managing the situation" in Iraq at all. I have no hope for this stupid country, people are idiots and they vote. Whoopee, these people shouldn't have library cards never mind voter registration cards.

This is the end, I've had it. No more papers to read, no more books, no more facts - they're all meaningless. The electorate sucks, they will get what they want, Karl Rove, Tom Delay, Dick Cheney and the rest of the pukes.

I will quit following politics and just watch the Red Sox this fall, I like their chances better. And that is scary.

1. 800 registered voters is not a very big sample...particularly when....
...the poll is commissioned by very conservative Florida newspapers.

I bet if we looked real close, we would also discover that the so-called "Democratic" polling firm is also very consrvative.

2. I Disagree With The Results
but the Miami Herald and the St. Petersburg Times are not conservative papers....

They both endorsed Gore in 00....

7. I Bleed Democratic
but creating alternate realities will serve us poorly in the end.......

The St. Pete Times and Miami Herald are mainstream papers... Their detractors would call them liberal rags....

And the pollster in question is a Democrat not a conservative or a liberal Democrat but a Democrat....

3. they're even (scary in itself) .....
and the question wasn't whether Stupid is managing the situation, but wether they "think" he'll do it better than Kerry

I would wait until Kerry starts running his ads again and the debates

6. Keep in mind, Iraq was out of the news for weeks
because of the Swift Liars and the Olympics.

8.  A 2-point lead is pretty meaningless
so how can you say it is "over with"? Bsh got a little bump due to Hurricane Charlie. Now, I do think Kerry has to go after Bush more on Iraq than he has.

Also a new Columbus Post poll out today has Ohio at a 46-46 tie, this is a improvement for Kerry over their last poll which was 47-45 for Bush.

10. Gimmeafuckinbreak
You see a two-point spread in one poll in one state and it's time to pack it all in and give up and throw a drama tantrum about how stupid everyone else but you is?

It's a good thing that all the people who ever did some good in this country were made of sterner stuff than this.

"The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman." Thomas Paine
