Great site!

My newly-registered daughter is going off to school and will need to vote absentee. This makes it easy.

4. make sure to check on registering by mail

check your state rules for this line: "A person who registers to vote by mail must vote in person in the first election in which he or she participates."

Anyone going away to college needs to register in person, not by mail, in my state at least, if they've never voted before.
