For all Of the MCCain Lovers
First McCain says that it is OK to go after Kerry for his anti war stance and now he is stabbing him in the back again by insinuating they are not really "friends". He was the first one to state they were friends and has repeatedly stated so for years and now this! McCain, whose convention role was examined by The Washington Post's Mark Leibovich in Monday's Style section, plans to campaign with Bush on Tuesday and Friday. The Vietnam War hero, who flirted publicly with running on Democratic Sen. John F. Kerry's ticket before becoming a loyal foot solider for his own party's nominee, emphasized to Leibovich that he and Kerry are not really as close as Kerry has sought to portray.

Asked about the relationship, McCain said he and Kerry have "spent a lot of time working on issues, flying to Vietnam, doing a lot of that kind of professional Senate work." But McCain also noted that "I've never socialized with him. I've never been to his house for dinner. We've never invited him out to Arizona. . . . I've been to John's house in Georgetown once, like six or seven years ago. And I've never been invited up to Nantucket. Or Sun City. I mean Sun Valley . Or whatever."

1. How many times has he been out bug-hunting with Bush?
Are we really to believe that any time McCain has been at the pig farm, it has been a purely social visit? Bah!

6. I have never voted for a Republican.
Up until McCain started supporting dumbya, I might have voted for him, but sell-out is the exactly right term to describe what he is doing.

He sold out his friend, Kerry who had previously defended him.

I will never voter for that traitor. He betrays me and every other veteran with what he is doing now.

I would love to see Kerry resume running the ad that McCain wanted pulled.
