Yet another former Kerry crewman comes forward to defend him

Gene Thorson of Columbia, Missouri. He's been working on Kerry's campaign for 2 years but no matter. It just adds fuel to the fire of the unjustness of this whole thing:

"Gene Thorson, a crew member of the swift boat Kerry commanded, addressed a group of about 40 veterans and their families yesterday at the veterans memorial in front of the Boone County Courthouse. Local veterans working for the Kerry-Edwards presidential campaign sponsored the event.

If there were Kerry opponents, none spoke up during the event..."

great quotes in the article from other vets, except for the marine at the end who whines that Kerry didn't "bleed" enough for his tastes.

On same day, Medeiros and Belodeau got Bronze Stars and Sandusky, Short and Thorson got Navy Commendation Medals with Combat V. And they all said they bitched about having to get cleaned up at the time. ;)

Belodeau has since passed on right? I havent seen Short but Ive seen Del around since the beginning of Kerry's campaign, I read a nice article about Medeiros standing up for Kerry.

3. This is the insane thing about the media on this issue - they have a

first person, eye witness account yet they balance with the view of a man who had no contact or view in any way of what happened and place their views as equally valid.
