Now we have our own Flag-pin-like scandal!

The McCain Campaign at the Convention last night showed Walter Reed Middle School, rather than Walter Reed Army Hospital. What's the matter with these goobers, why do they hate the troops, why do they disregard that valiant sacrifices which they have made on our behalf, and why do they hate America?

All these questions need to be answered RIGHT NOW!!

Doesn't that just feel so good!!

Did you see them on TDS? They look absolutely idiotic in their flag shirts, flag pants, flag socks, and flag hats, all the while waving flags, flags, and more flags around, as an impossibly immense flag ripples on the huge video screen onstage, with more flags off to both sides.

Is flag worship part of fundie/wingnut theology? Do they realize how silly they look to normal people? Are these the same people that criticize the flamboyant outfits in the Gay Pride parade?

These unsophisticated Republicans constantly and consistently confuse symbol with substance, messenger with message. If they would show 1/10 the love and respect for America itself that they do for the logo that represents it, this would be a much better country!
