Expect McCain to pull ahead in the polls next week.
He will get a Convention bump and America has fallen for the Palin regular folks, hockey mom bullshit (Ramussen has her as the only candidate with over 50% approval, 57%!!)
It doesn't matter how much we think this is a ton of crap, it's working on voters. We will have to acknowledge it, and fight it. Not just expect everyone to see the truth we know.

2. No. Every day that goes by with Palin hiding from the press
And the more that comes out about here, takes the shine off her. By next week people will be good and sick of her laying low.

4 behind is the best he'll do.

5. Actually Rasmussen has her as the candidate with the highest approval 58% BUT
both Obama and McCain have 57% approval. She is the flavor of the month but once people begin focusing on her opinions and scandals that will drop.

From Rasmussen:
Perhaps most stunning is the fact that Palin’s favorable ratings are now a point higher than either man at the top of the Presidential tickets this year. As of Friday morning, Obama and McCain are each viewed favorably by 57% of voters. Biden is viewed favorably by 48%.

8. I will not acknowledge it
And my patience is wearing thin with the doom and gloom posts.

Only positive Obama is spoken here.

9. Yeah
keep it up Pollyannas. I remember how Kerry was kicking Bush's ass and we didn't need to worry then either.
We are in a fight here. And it needs to be acknowledged how close and tough it is.
The Palin we have read about should be polling below 40%. She's not and as long as they keep her scripted (which is what they are doing, NO interviews) she will help McCain. Do not underestimate how hard this is going to be.

10. I don't think he will pass Obama. The GOP convention was a bust.
Palin has too many ghosties in her closet. John McCain's speech was uninspiring. I don't think many independants will be impressed.

11. I'm willing to wait until early next week.
And I would like nothing better than to be wrong. But I would like to see some people here deal with reality if I am right about this.
