i was PLANNING on watching the Repuke Convention this week but no, I don't think I am going to.

i can't stomach it.

i'll get the "opinions" of it from the bobble-heads on my TV but there will be a LOT of TLC and History Channel programs on my television this week.

sorry all. won't be giving play by play's because i have not much more in me. i can't wait for this fucking election to be over with so i can figure out what to do the next 4 years.

you know it is funny. talking to a golfer on the course today (LW'er too).

told him i think i might buy a GOOD on-line game for the computer on November 3rd and veg out playing it for a few months after this bullshit has passed.

I've watched every GOP convention since '72, but this year I just can't handle it. I hate this criminal gang so much I know I'd have my head explode with every lie, every smear, and every distortion. Why bother? Why put myself through it?

Edited to add: I am on anti-depressants though. I even picked up some anti-anxiety meds too. Highly recommended. (Not because of the election although I'm sure its not helping. Had 2 sad deaths recently.)
