Could we keep the RNC outta here, please?

I'm trying to avoid it as best I can, so could we keep the "OMG I can't believe what they're doing now" threads to a minimum? I'd like to think of DU as a safe have from all that, but it's just one of those things you feel compelled to see when it appears.

I know everytime I search Yahoo news my blood begins to boil from the headlines of the RNC. I would suggest if it really does bother you to take a short vacation from the media and DU (what I did during the war) to really take it easy.

here on DU. i think this is most appropriate for it.

especially about which media are whoring all over themselves after being so contemptuous and backhanded during the DNC.

9. Personally I don't see why

people are helping boost the ratings. Right wingers already watch these political shows more than liberals. Watch their ratings be almost double the DNC. Because our folks are watching it
