We Need To Do Something About The Purple Heart Band Aid Brouhaha....

They are handing out Purple Heart Band aids at the Republican National Convention to mock John Kerry's Purple Hearts but those cretins are really mocking all the brave men and women who were awarded the Purple Heart for combat related wounds some of them quite serious...


Quite serious like my dad who was awarded the Purple Heart for taking shrapnel in the eye in WW 2 during the North African Campaign... He also contacted malaria... He spent six months at Walter Reed..... They could save the eye cosmetically but not the sight....


Prior to the war he was a lifeguard, an amateur boxer and an all around great athelete.... He came home from the war a broken man...


I was going to e-mail the joker who is alleged to being handing them out and offer to show him my dad's Purple Heart along with his swimming, boxing, baseball, and track medals...
