and that Kerry is a liar. Still we cannot find anyone who served with Bush in Alabama, save a dentist who saw his teeth (perhaps a pair of discarded dentures).

I am so pissed at the repugs who are wearing band-aids with purple hearts denigrating Kerry (and my father and a brother) while they support AWOL.

2. Of all the fucking nerve
these hateful repuke chickenshit coward punkass slime defaming a Navy veteran who might well have been killed saving one of their wretched brothers or fathers in Viet Nam while they put an awol deserter on a pedestal and fawn over his failed mis-leadership for the last 4 years is truly disgusting and they should be belittled mocked at every opportunity for their callous, shameful display of anti-patriotism. They are not Americans.

and the man behind it all:

Someone with more "creative" expertise than me should try to nip this one in the bud.

It's so beside the point that it is ludicrous.

McCain defends Kerry, calls detractor 'dispicable'

By Michael Janofsky
The New York Times

WASHINGTON - Sen. John McCain defended a fellow Vietnam War veteran Friday by attacking the credibility of a North Carolina veteran who has dedicated himself to defeating Sen. John Kerry in his presidential campaign.

McCain, R-Ariz., called Ted Sampley "one of the most despicable people I have ever had the misfortune to encounter."

The Web site, www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnkerry.com, includes pictures from the 1970s showing Kerry at anti-war protests.

In 1993, Sampley was convicted of misdemeanor assault and sentenced to 180 days' probation for attacking a legislative aide to McCain.
