Telluride, Colorado for Kerry.....
Just got back from Telluride vacation and almost every house up and down Telluride had a Kerry sign on their window or front yard. Mind you, these are multi-million dollar homes. I was cheering walking up and down the streets. I saw so many cars with Kerry signs, more than I've seen anywhere else. People gather for lunch and talk about politics and how they all hate bush and how cheney is just an evil man and extremely bad for our country. I didn't even see one bush sticker on any car.

1. There are some great Dem pockets in Colorado!
I went to the zoo yesterday and LOVED seeing all the Kerry/Edwards yard signs. I live in a Repuke suburb.
A principal at a nearby high school got a call today from a lady who couldn't believe the school would DARE schedule Back to School Night for parents on Thursday when GW Liar was speaking at the RNC.

Other Dem places in Colorado...Aspen, Salida, and a lot of the San Luis valley.

3. Don't forget Denver!
Way Democratic here. Lots of signs - especially "Regime Change Begins at Home"

2. Great! I saw an article or
an editorial in the Telluride paper on du ..not too long ago that was very favorable to Kerry.

snips~

Jim Russell, a former Navy lieutenant now living in Telluride, said he was on the No. 43 Swift boat near the one under Kerry's command on March 13, 1969. He said he watched Kerry pull a crewmate from the Bay Hap River in Viet Cong-controlled territory.

"I saw him grab the guy from the water," Russell, 60, told The Denver Post.

Russell, who also spoke out during a national telephone news conference Monday and in a letter to a Telluride newspaper over the weekend, said he came forward after seeing television ads sponsored by Swift Boat Veterans for Truth attacking Kerry's courage and combat medals.

"These guys are lying and saying things that not only minimize Kerry, but makes all of us who were there seem inconsequential and minimal," Russell, who served in the Navy from 1966 to 1971, told The Post.
