2. Who smacked whom? I hear they were doing the "can't win" story
What happened, in one sentence or less? Or more?

Thanks.

3. Of ncourse Koppled will speak for the Pres. even as he says he won't
Let's let the lightweight Pres. off the hook. This is a Pres. who can read off the teleprompter but doesn't understand what is being written for him. It happens all the time when he has to answer without a script.

13. Oh I get it.
Republicans are nuanced and sophisticated. Democrats are flip-floppers. Thanks for clearing that up, Ted

6. The oh so very arrogant Mr. Koppel
has switched from being a journalist to becoming a publicist for Bushwa. Saw his "interview" with Amy Goodman after the DNC convention. He should be ashamed...

7. Koppel was the one who referred to Kucinich as a "vanity campaign"
during the ABC primary debates. Koppel is the reason I ended up voting for Dennis!

9. Edwards doesn't get mad - not his style - but he's dangerous
don't underestimate him. Tonight's not the time to pounce. Just wait.

Over the years, Edwards's courtroom opponents came to regard him with ungrudging awe. "He didn't have any weaknesses," says James Cooney, who faced him in about a dozen cases. "He was never underhanded. If I was in a trial with John Edwards and I ever had to pull a knife out of my back, it was only because he shoved it through my chest." In cross-examinations, Edwards's "style was gentle," says Cooney. "He never yelled at a witness. He didn't try to physically dominate a witness--when he got done, when the witnesses stood up, all their clothes fell off."
"The Boyish Wonder," Newsweek, July 19, 2004

15. Jeez, this whole Nightline is dedicated to . . .
. . . explaining what the president 'meant'. "What the president meant to say was . . ." Koppel, Scott McClellan, another Nightline reporter and now some heavy at the convention.

"White House spokesman Scott McClellan tried to clarify the president's remarks, saying Bush meant the war wouldn't have a conventional ending." http://www.cjad.com/content/cp_article.asp?id=/global_feeds/canadianpress/worldnews/w0830111A.htm

The guy at the convention is explaining what the meaning of the word 'it' is. Gawd.

Now he's challenging Kerry/Edwards to a debate. Hmmmmm. Interesting.

Koppel's sure a whore tonight.

TYY
