Mission Not Accomplished: Four Years Later

http://www.democrats.org/mna/

At his convention four years ago, George W. Bush said he would be a compassionate conservative. But he shifted the tax burden to the middle class, made it harder for kids to get school lunches, and last week cut out overtime pay for millions of the hardest working Americans.

Four years ago he said he'd be an education president and help families afford health care. But he's left millions of children behind, stood by while millions lost health insurance and health care premiums for those who kept it shot through the roof.

After September 11th his mission was clear: bring Americans together and unite the world to wage war against our common enemies. But he split our nation apart and gave the world the cold shoulder. When it comes to an America that's united at home and respected around the world, mission not accomplished.
