Another case of Republican nepotism
WTF is wrong with republicans? They turn people representation into family biusiness. First it was Murkowski in Alaska. Now it is Tauzin in Louisiana. One asshole resigns from Congress and immediately the state GOP endorses his son for the seat.

...
Republicans critical of state party’s decision to endorse Tauzin III

Republicans in the Louisiana Senate sent a letter to the state GOP yesterday urging the organization to reconsider its endorsement of Billy Tauzin III, son of the 13-term congressman who is running to replace his father in that state’s 3rd Congressional District.

The 14 state senators wrote the letter in support of their colleague, Craig Romero, a fellow state senator who is one of three Republicans running for the seat being vacated by the elder Tauzin.

2. Well, according to G.H.W. Bush

politics is a racket, and he wasn't sure he wanted shrubya to
get into it. (From the CNN documentary)

I'm guessing this is the way they feel about it. It's a crime
family attitude. Racket indeed.

3. What's funny
is that I recall the Repukes screaming in the 60s when JFK put RFK in as Attorney General. Then Teddy was elected to the Senate! There was talk about a dynasty, etc, etc.
