Of course, that's never going to happen. The only way McGrabAss wins the popular vote is if they steal it.

5. House of Reps is Dem heavy and we have no reason to believe we'll lose seats
we'll probably gain seats. The GOP won't have a leg to stand on.

With Obama racking up huge vote totals in major urban centers, meaning that his popular vote totals may outperform his electoral college advantage, whether or not he wins.

8. They planned for that situation in 2000
When polls indicated that Gore might win the EC but lose the popular vote. The GOP had plans to shout and scream and propagandize until everyone gave in and let them have the White House.
