On VH1 last night: Kerry vs Bush "Bling Off"
Complete stupid and utter nonsense.

Bush was given points for having better transportation (Air Force One), and a better home (White House).

Air Force One and the White House belong to the PEOPLE, not George Bush!!

Planet Earth has a population of 6 billion but only two men hold it in palm of their hands: George Bush and John Kerry. In November this world leader and multi-million-heir will go head to head for the title of president, but before the election they'll have to compete in another contest: a Bling-Off.

Whether they made their money in ketchup or oil, the Bush and Kerry names are synonymous with power and privilege. From Kerry's private island in Nantucket to Bush's massive $1.2 million ranch in Texas to Kerry's $50 million assortment of property to 1600 Pennsylvannia Avenue - these two men live like kings. With Bush's political legacy and Kerry's half-billion dollar fortune they are America's version of royalty and the entire world is in their domain.

From secret societies to personal stylists, we'll show you what it takes and how much it costs to become the next "leader of the Free World". When it comes to looking good Bush relies on his $14,000 power suit made from the finest hand-sewn material, but for Kerry it's all about the hair. He even flew in his personal stylist moments before a press conference for a signature cut worth $1000.

And when it's time to hit the road, they always travel in style. For Bush it's Cadillac One, the most expensive and exceptional Cadillac known to man. With its missile-proof military armor, tear gas cannons and vibrating massage cushions, nobody can get in and nobody wants to get out. But that's small fries compared to the Heinz-Kerry $35 million Gulfstream V, complete with gold-plated fixtures and "number 57" painted on the tail.

1. And they wonder why we don't respect the office...
'Course, some recent occupants have a lot to do with that too.

Doesn't it just make you want to hurl sometimes?

3. VH1 and E! are sad excuses for TV networks...
even for cable networks they're low rent. Cheap clip shows and celebrity gossip. (One of those two networks are always on the TVs at my gym...I listen to Air America on the radio instead.)

4. Saw it and I'm always in awe of Bill Clinton and
wonder how on earth he ever became President. This Country professes to admire people who pull themselves up by their bootstraps - I'm beginning to think it so they can see if they can slap them back down where they belong.
