2. I Cringed When I Heard That
My wife and I have been talking about what a twilight zone we seem to have stepped into. People who should otherwise know better are thinking in ways that challenge our sensibilities. I told her that it's not really the "twilight zone," but more like "Body Snatchers" (pods are hatching all around us and unthinking Republican automatons are walking out). Or, maybe a better comparison would be "Stepford Wives" or "Pleasantville"? Whatever is happening, I've decided not to sleep tonight. What about you?
