Obama's kicking ass on the O'Reilly Factor tonight!
It's about to come on in a few minutes out here, and they showed a preview on "On The Record". It looks like Senator Obama did VERY well! Last week, after the first part of the interview, O'Reilly said that Obama was "a tough guy" and "not a wimp".

2. McBush keeps trying to pull him into the mud, but Obama is a smart, serious leader.
I think Rove told McBush to take the wrong off-ramp in this campaign. They are just flailing about now, spectacularly. They really think being and behaving just this administration is a winning strategy. If Congress had impeached their sorry asses, this would be even more funny. Still they are doing a puppet show entitled "More of the Same" with a straight face.

14. Failure to impeach their "sorry asses" allows the fascists to florish. . .

Opposition to impeachment sends a "message" that trumps all the gotchas, "educating the public," and hope mongering.

Refusal to impeach says Bush is right and/or Democrats are weak political hacks who refuse to fight for the principles they give lip service to.

As long as the Democratic "leadership," and Obama as the Party standard bearer, oppose impeachment, they are partners in the Republican slap-down of the countless Americans -- the scholars, government officials, military officers, public figures (including our own Mr. Olbermann), and ordinary citizens -- who have been sounding the alarm and demanding justice.

The only way to drive home the magnitude of the threat posed by McCain and the rest of the Republican followers of bushncheney-ism is to "get real" and demand impeachment and removal.

The charges are well-known. A majority actually sees the the truth. It is the failure to impeach that is responsible denial of reality.

If Bush leaves office unimpeached, don't be surprised to see a repeat of 1988, when failure of the 100th Congress to impeach empowered Reagan and put H.W. Bush into the White House.

If Bush leaves office unimpeached, and Obama manages to win despite the failure, don't be surprised when the unchallenged and unbowed followers of bushncheneyism hound him out of office with manufactured scandal.

If Obama actually trusts the Americans people, it long past time to show it. Call on the House to impeach. Call on McCain to reject or defend torture; to reject or defend rule by signing statement. Give We the People, and Members of Congress the opportunity to break the bonds of complicity.

The "lets all get along with war criminals" strategy has failed, but it's not too late for Obama et al to transform "the message" from one of surrender to one of REAL Hope and REAL Change.

8. I want a president who's smarter than I am.. As Chris Rock
said when asked "Is America ready for a Black president?" Chris said, "America was ready for a retarded one".

13. Well, I don't own 7 homes. I had to work my way through college.
I believe that government should represent ALL the people, not just the wealthy.

But of course Bill O'Reilly and his followers can't get past the color of his skin.

15. Actually, what voters are looking for is a President who gives voice to their outrage. . .

"Lets all get along with war criminals" isn't cutting it.

But Obama could http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=7008314&mesg_id=7019815">turn things around on a dime.

11. I e-mailed Orily as a "proud Liberal" and thanked him for a
great interview. He read it on the air the only reason being "a Liberal (old hippie)" thought he did a good job and made an interesting show. My theory: Liberals can't be all bad if they have manners and thank me...LOL. Poor Billo, he's very needy.
