The palin family has thrown me into an identity crisis
I did not do drugs as a young lad (or ever), I did not get my high school girlfriend pregnant (although we did invent oral sex at a drive in movie the summer of 1971; no need to thank me) I did not join the military to run away from my previous actions, I have never been arrested for anything, I'm a law abiding, tax paying citizen. My parents never tried to force their morality on anyone and somehow I turned out pretty damned decent. I do not share any of the palin family values and yet I'm seemingly more "Christian" then the lot of them. So how the hell could I possibly be a flaming liberal?? Wow, just another episode of Bizarro World.

2. LOL. Boss, you kill me.
In all your law abiding years, did you ever get escorted from the middle school because you brought someone Taco Bell?

I didn't think so. Just one area where I am superior to you.

5. I bow in awe at your crime wave.
My most heinous stunt: Me and two high school buddies went out in town the night of a primary election, gathered up campaign signs all over town from front lawns and piled them on the Prinicipal's parking spot. (I'm assuming the statute of limitations has run out.) Two days later in the local paper a city official "thanked" whoever had done it because it was much easier to get rid of the signs then waiting for property owners to dispose of them. I fucked up being a criminal.

7. Duty called
We modeled our research after Mr Edison, we did it a thousand times before we thought we got it right. And to think conservatives give Bill Clinton credit.

8. I've been wondering about this whole "culture war" bs
It seems as though the gop and the media are attaching the rw religious extremists to all rural people, and that simply is not close to being accurate.

There are differences in urban vs rural cultures, but you cannot say with a broad brush that urban=liberal and rural=conservative. I lived in a midwest town of 350+ people for about 14 years so I speak with a bit of experience.

9. I live out in the country
and we are as diverse as is possible. Conservatives like to talk it, thats much easier then walking it.

10. Exactly. Just like in urban areas, rural communities are diverse
I would love to see someone take on this issue. I know that Brian Schweitzer of MT has pushed the debate, but we really need for national leaders or a 527 to bring the topic to the forefront.
