1. who is she?
Edited on Wed Sep-10-08 12:54 PM by ErinBerin84
Not to sound ageist, but when I first turned on the tv, I thought that it was Roberta McCain. Then she started spouting all of these other "examples of sexism" (Biden called her good looking!) I turned it off before I had the pleasure of hearing more.

edit: ah, Jo Anne Davidson . It's so transparent that the sole purpose of the "truth squad" was faux charges of sexist.

6. Davidson is RNC Co-chair.

Andrea Mitchell completely let her off the hook with the McCain "education" ad. I want to wring Mitchell's neck sometimes.

3. Got the talking point thanks.. Pathetic.
McCain has done it twice and his MSM lovers will not cover it..
Palin lies daily and MSM will not cover them.
MSM, the wonderful people that brought you the reelection of GWB..

4. Situational Ethics??? OMG Fundies are VERY confused!!!
Edited on Wed Sep-10-08 12:58 PM by patrice
Whereas, her statement MAY be true, it isn't NECESSARILY true and in order to establish it's validity she needs to provide us with an analysis of the two situations that reveals the differences in them that justify different evaluations.

On edit: But of course, no one in corporate media will ask for any of that.

7. Repubs believe in double standards
One for them and a far stricter one for everyone else.
I can't wait to be rid of them.

11. She also said the campaign stands by their "Sex Ed" ad.
Even after Andrea Mitchell pointed out that the legislation was to protect children from sexual predators. Mitchell even tried to help her out saying maybe they chose the wrong legislation to point out.

Then the woman kept looking off-camera with the hard questions. Wonder who was feeding her.

14. Since when are Republicans known as pro-woman anyway??
That is what is pissing me off the most about this. Republicans and their evangelical Christian voter base are the worst violators of sexism in this country. Now they are the defenders of women? What a bunch of crap. Andrea Mitchell should be fired for not being truthful. Hey Andrea!! Calling you a journalist is like putting lipstick on a pig. Oink.

16. When was Palin nominated? That's when the GOP became pro-woman
Of course, their policies will never reflect that because honestly, they aren't pro-woman, they're pro-Palin who, we all know, is NOT pro-woman.

15. I'm amazed at how fast these robots fall into line
I mean with the exception of Huckabee, who I think has a certain resentment against his party for not picking him as VP, they are all on the same page within moments. I really wonder how that works. Do they check in every day with some central authority that is getting Rove's marching orders?

McCain could accuse Obama of having an alien implant and within minutes, every Republican talking ass would be agreeing with it, with the exact same talking points.

Or the office is faxed regularly with the days talking points that are updated regularly.
