Andrea Mitchell is really opening a can of whoop-ass on the McCain Campaign
on NBC News!

She is talking about why McCain is doing it, and really seems disgusted about how McLame is using this distraction. She even had clips of McSame and Cheney using the expression.

Chuck Todd is calling it a distraction from the issues as well.

I think Obama has won this round.

3. Meanwhile, on MSNBC, David Gregory is putting lipstick on McCain's ass
ready to give it a big kiss.

And I was just about to start making dinner too.
That big, hairy, wrinkly, pale as paper ass. Ugh.

4. I'm glad they are calling this a distraction, but unfortunately they
are part of the problem. MSNBC has talked about little else all day - at least CNN had the Sex for Oil story, news about Afghanistan, Ron Suskind talking about Bush and Pakistan. Every time I turned to MSNBC it was lipstick. Every day that McCain is able to dominate the media with BS distractions is a day that people don't hear about the real issues and that's not good for us.

5. This morning on Morning Joe
she was really refuting the claims also. She said when the McCain campaign called NBC there were a bunch of female reporters on the conference call asking "do you seriously think this was sexist?" She was handing him a nice morning, F-you, McCain!

7. Re: I think Obama has won this round.
Not only has he won it, and soundly, but this is a theme that could resonate if handled properly. It would be nice to see an Obama ad with a running list of all of the false distractions the McCurmudgeon campaign has used so far. Ending with "McCain says you can trust him...you can trust him, all right...to always play political games instead of addressing the issues that are important to the American people."
