Guys here is an optimisitc post...
I took my two kids to the store today...and I live in a VERY conservitive side of Michigan...

I parked UNIntentionally by 3 cars that had Kerry/Edwards stickers on their cars..One had an array of things like GWB You're fired ....I was so proud to park right next to them...with MY sticker...the people are NOT fooled..there are LOTS more of us..we just need to send the strongest message we can..no matter what the media tells us to think...we can go vote...that is the big FU to the media and to the bushistas..just make sure EVERYONE gets to the polls on November 2nd...

anyway...it made me feel so good to see that-I was grumpy all morning...due to the repuke ass kissing

2. I saw some really scathing anti-bush stickers in OH
Edited on Tue Aug-31-04 12:27 PM by crozet4clark
a couple of weeks ago, right outside of Cleveland at a turnpike rest area. They were people from OH itself. Made me feel good too.

Remember not everyone is downing the purple GOP kook-aid.

Not me, I'm fighting to get my country back.

10. not declaring defeat yet - just prep for plan B
a second dishonestly 'won' election needs to be fought too and no backing down Gore style this time either.

7. what scares the crap out of me
is seeing California "weak Kerry" on the electoral vote predictor and

( from http://www.electoral-vote.com/ )
bushit has now picked up Florida by 4% (was tied), Pennsylvania by 2% (was tied), and achieved a tie in Iowa (was Kerry by 6%). For the first time since June 23 Bush has more than the required 270 votes in the electoral college. ALTHOUGH, these results were done by Strategic Vision who normally works only for repugs and results like these that contradict results from other pollsters in so many states do raise some eyebrows. Maybe it's all a smoke screen....

We have Kerry stuff all over the car, a BIG sign in the rear passenger window and we get "thumbs up" from other motorists constantly. We are wearing Kerry shirts and hats all the time. We get more thumbs up than get flipped the bird. The repugs are such pathological liars, everything is so muddled it's hard to know WHAT the hell the correct numbers are.

8. I got another good sign for you
This is from my local rag newspaper, The Covington News (which should be called the Republican News for Dumb Rednecks outside the metro Atlanta area):

Conservative reader has had enough of Bush

To the Editor:

Most of us in this neck of the woods describe ourselves as conservatives, meaning one who stands for fiscal responsibility and less government interference as opposed to liberals who advocate social programs such as Lyndon Johnson's "great society," which was both ineffective and monumentally wasteful.

Having said that, there is no way I can vote for George W. Bush, and here's why.

Thank God I was sitting down when I read this.

9. I had trouble believeing that really was a "conservative reader"
but I see he hit the "hot button" issue of immigration.
Conservatives don't usually worry about shitting on the working class, but I see he has a healthy perspective on the "big picture" of the economy.
Same with the court of world opinion re: Iraq.

Nice!

Trust me, he's out there...

But I'll take any kind of press we can get like that. If Chimpy is pissing off the total idiots of podunk hickville GA, he's in serious trouble.
