** GOOD MEDIA DAY FOR OBAMA ..... THE TIDES MAY BE TURNING **
Edited on Thu Sep-11-08 03:37 PM by President Decider
Everyone is running the "Bill Clinton predicts Obama will win BIG!" story ...

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/11/campaign.wrap/index.html

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26661484/

Then we get a real gem in the "Former GOP senator calls Palin a 'cocky wacko' story ....

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26661483/

On a more personal level, I'm starting to hear a LOT more people starting to question the decision to select Palin considering her rural small townm, obscure city and state level qualifications. I think the more people realize that McCain could kick the bucket at any time, the more they start realizing this nut case pentacostal extremist could be running our country.

1. Yep. Every little 'out of phase' glance, every slip of the tongue
now is giving people an "Oh, oh" moment. If McSame was 20 years younger then Palin might be acceptable to them - the way Quayle was - but if McSame walks into the oval office there is a very good possibility that he will be carried out, and THAT is a scary prospect.

2. I have decided the repuke party is 2 extremes: ultra rich and the ulta stupid -nothing in between.
Edited on Thu Sep-11-08 03:50 PM by 1Hippiechick
Of course, the ultra rich want the tax breaks. The ultra stupid drink the KoolAid, base their vote on soundbites, and don't bother to do any research.

Seriously have told my husband that I am ready to move to Europe. My 82 y.o. mother-in-law said, "Take me with you." (Of course we wouldn't leave her--she was making a point about being fed up, too.)

He's an ex president and a great one at that. When we speaks he can get is message in the media. Better Bill then pigs and lipstick.

9. He needs to come out swining tomorrow
Ads need to be airing at 12:01 am, surrogates need to flood the airwaves, he MUST dominate from here on out. They need to zero in on McCain, tie him to Bush, point out his LIES and CORRUPTION. Every time someone says Palin, he needs to say McCain. Bring it in, bring it home.

14. Good and hopefully tomorrow will be even better after the ABC interview
when hopefully they will be talking about the fact that Palin doesn't know what the Bush doctrine is and that she wants to get us into another war.

16. On a personal level
everyone I talked to (and I live in Texas) was appalled by the Palin pick from day 1. Even hard core republicans know she is totally unqualified.

17. Just saw new Obama ad here in NC: showing McCain lobbyist connections.
I gotta say, I'm no filmmaker so I don't have a clue, but the "sameness" of ALL the political ads (the music, the voice, the whole vibe...local, national, both parties) ARE MIND-NUMBING.

Dang, they need to shake it up somehow -- as it stands, I doubt these ads get anyone's attention. They become white noise.

I wish they'd do something really outside the box, to really, really grab attention.
