James Baker to head Bush's Debate Negotiation Team
And Uncle Karl says he won't decide on how many Bush/Kerry debates they will be until after the convention.

7. "The Votes Were Counted and They Were Counted Again"
or so said Baker and his evil twin, Karen Hughes during the recount, Geez just let me slap them both silly.

Once again, the Bush Family Fixer comes to their rescue.

3. Time to revive the chicken suit that was used against poppy in 92
They are going to try and drag out the negotiations the way Poppy did in 92 so there is little time left to have 3 debates. It backfired on Poppy when Dem activists started showing up at Poppy's appearances in chicken suits. The best moment came when Poppy actually got into an argument with the chicken. Heh. Those were the days, my friend.

5. What's to negotiate?
Maybe no questions about WMDs, no questions about lost jobs, no questions about the deficit, no questions about 1000 dead soldiers, no questions about the Enron Energy task force, no questions about what Bush was doing on 911, no questions about the spy for Israel in the Defense Department, no questions about Sibel Edmonds, no questions about Valerie Plame, no questions about the August 6th memo, no questions about Ahmed Chalabi, no questions about Kenny Boy, no questions about Osama, just to name a few.

If John Kerry's team is on the ball to any extent, the first item not subject to negotiation should be to make all negotiations a matter of intimate public scrutiny. And if Bush refuses to negotiate to debate because of this, then Kerry has every reason of accusing the Bush team of ducking a debate. The American public has every right to know under what terms Mr. Bush will and will not submit to debate.

6. Kerry shouldn't negotiate with terrorists!
Tell Jim Baker to stick it where the sun don't shine. The Debate Commission has set up the debates. Kerry will be there. End of "negotiations".

9. James Baker: 'F--- the Jews. They don't vote for us anyway.'"
From here:

http://www.businessweek.com/bwdaily/dnflash/aug2004/nf20040830_7001_db009.htm

Bush 41, the father, was not particularly good on issue. I do not believe he was anti-Semitic but his Secretary of State, James Baker, perhaps summed up the attitude prevailing in that Administration when he said, 'F--- the Jews. They don't vote for us anyway.'"

10. I suspect that they will limit it to AT MOST 2

and maybe only 1 debate.

And the format will be scripted questions, (each candidates
question will be provided to both candidates in advance), and
a time limited answer with 1 rebuttal. Watch for shrubya to
be wearing that clear plastic ear insert again (the one with
the antenna on it). He will be waiting for "answers to pop into
his head" just like the last press conference (how long ago was
THAT?).

So everything staged, everything rehearsed, and what can't be
rehearsed will be whispered in from backstage by Karen or someone.

14. If Kerry "negotiates" with Bush, he's a fool
Any time a Democrat "negotiates" with Bush, the Democrat loses because Bush starts with the most far right position ever. When Democrats agree to meet Bush half way, which is only very far right, instead of very very far right, they think they won.

Do not negotiate with Bush, Kerry!
