Anyone, who knew anyone who came back from Vietnam with the psychological scars heard these stories especially after a few drinks, puffs of pot or whatever got them to open up and reminisce about what happened.

What does he think made everyone mad enough to go protest the war? It was these ancedotal but widespread eyewitness accounts that weren't in the news that started the anti-war movement. Kerry had the courage to put himself out in front of Congress and say that these things were happening. My god, didn't anyone see the movie "Platoon"?
