Where the hell is Dean? Where are the Democratic Attack Dogs?
We need the big guns out there to fight off these attacks! Why aren't our folks getting the media face time that the Repugs got at our convention? I wanna see someone capable of tearing these assholes apart and the best guy to do that is Dean--the man rocks!

Beyond that, I want the Democratic party to pull out every old photo of every journalist with a goat they can find and blackmail them into giving us equal air time! We cannot fight fair on this or we are going to throw this one away too. We need to pull out all the stops--or else have marches every single day in the streets of every major US city until we get our point across--* must go!

Bush may get a bounce. Even an 8 or 9 point bounce. Normal.
There are debates. People are just now getting into this stuff, not like us who live and breathe it. We have strategists, we have war rooms, we have minds ready to pounce and this is wearing all of us down but anyone who plays chess knows that you don't checkmate until
you set up the play. Have you ever really watched an animal before an attack? Really? They stalk and walk away a bit and then when the victim is least expecting it, blindsided, they are pinned. Look for the attack but not right now ! There is also power and huge money involved in this campaign. Bonesman against Bonesman..and who is Bush's real friends? It is great that Kerry's wife is one of the wealthiest women in the world. With Wealth comes power and Kerrys have more money that Bush.(personally) This is all in the game. Be not deceived. at the end of the day, power and money holds the cards. We the people have to do our part but the Powers that we cannot control are there and they are ready to swoop. Feel better? You should ! It is smoke and mirrors on the Right....Trying to discourage you. We got the right candidate.

Especially like the animal analogy.

The pukefest Will Be Over and then we Attack..it would be just a waste right now.

12. Don't worry. Don't fret. It's normal for the opposition to
lay low during a convention.

I am confident that next week, the big guns will come out. Now, whether that 'liberal media' will pay much attention to challenges against their masters is another matter.

3. They're lining up as we speak.
Kerry knows military strategy. You never go until your commander gives the signal.

Now whether Kerry, as commander, is waiting too long is a point that can (and has been) debated.

I think D-Day is Friday.

I haven't heard Hillary Clinton at all. I thought she was heading up the Democrats for Truth squad. Anybody seeing this? I go back and forth between Cspan, MSNBC and CNN and have not seen her at all. Am I missing it somewhere?

10. Let's not start believing THEIR propaganda.
You know -- Democrats are pussies; they're weak; they won't fight back. Kerry is a very smart strategist who did not lose trials as a prosecutor and does not lose elections as a politician. We are frothing at the mouth because we are watching everything and the Repubs' lies are driving us nuts. But the reality is that most people aren't watching the convention or the cable news assclowns who tell us all what we should think about it. The battle will be joined after the convention is over. By that time we will all be so crazed that we'll be like the old Viking berserkers, and the campaign will have their strategy in place. All Kerry will have to do is unleash his machine. Dean and Clark and the other surrogates will start kicking Bushie butt all the way back to Crawford. Fear not.

14. Where are the Dems?
As O'Reilly would say, Shut up, Shut up, Shut up.
Hillary was on Tim Russet last night. I don't know if it was a rerun, but she was doing just fine, picking the Republicans apart piece by piece.
Do you want the Dems to look as shit for brains as the Republicans?
Edwards has been saying Bush "miscalculated" nearly everything. It's a good, honest message.
Cuomo was on last night and sounded reasonable as he told why Kerry should be the one. The Republicans on the panel sounded stupid, as usual. Clark talks tough and he's been talking tough. I don't think we want raving lunatics. We want smart, thinking people telling why these attacks are launched by people you wouldn't want running the country. We don't want our candidates and those who speak for them to look like Republicans, please God.
Quit bitching and start talking to your neighbors, and emailing to forward to those who might still be interested in the truth.
Sucker punching your candidate and those who ran against him in the primaries doesn't look good to anyone. And it feels worse.
Jayzuz, get out there into the combat zone yourself, stop whining that no one is doing it, or wanting everyone else to do it. Write to your newspaper, email the cable shows, doorbell, wear buttons and put bumper stickers on your vehicle. STAND UP and FIGHT.

20. Kerry talks about media consolidation
QUESTION: Senator, the Federal Communications Commission last year voted to allow media companies to further consolidate, allowing a single entity to gain greater control of television stations and newspapers in any given market.

QUESTION: The ruling, however, has been halted by a federal appeals court, which questioned the FCC's plan.

Critics complain that consolidation is concentrating too much power in one place, limiting diverse views and eliminating job opportunities. Media companies, however, argue that they need to operate in a free market with less regulations to compete and grow.

How do you propose to deal with this ongoing push for media consolidation?

KERRY: I'm against the ongoing push for media consolidation. I think it's contrary to...

(APPLAUSE)

It's contrary to the stronger interests of the country.

I understand the world has changed with cable and Internet and the numbers of outlets that we have. But notwithstanding that, the concentration of power still remains, I think, a very significant issue.

I was in favor of the rollback. I voted against the expansion.

I've sat on that committee now for years; I'm familiar with all the issues. And as president, as I said, I will appoint people to the FCC, and I will pursue a policy that tries to have as diverse and broad an ownership as possible.

It is critical to who we are as a free people. It's critical to our democracy.

I mean, look, I don't know how many of you have seen "Outfoxed" or some of the other things that are going around. You can make your own judgments about it. I'm not going to stand here and give you a long critique here.

But I will say this, and I think most of you know it: that a lot of what is decided with respect to news and coverage -- look at the convention of the last week. I thought Barack Obama gave a brilliant speech.

(APPLAUSE)

America missed it. America missed it, with the exception of cable outlets. Because broadcast decided to cover these certain hours, I had something like 30 million people watch, versus 7 million on a certain night.

I thought it was a very important evening, very important evening, when Ron Reagan talked about stem-cell research.

(APPLAUSE)

My wife gave, I thought, a superb speech. These were moments that I think America ought to share.

If we're going to be a strong democracy, and if it's all driven by money, we're in trouble. I'm going to make sure we have diversity.

(APPLAUSE)

21. If Dean Were Running Kerry's Campaign, We'd Be Sitting Pretty Now.
Rove recently admitted that the one Dem candidate he really didn't want to face was Howard Dean. (That's why the news media was reporting for weeks that Dean was the one Rove DID want to face. It was the old briarpatch trick.)

Rove knew that -- unlike Kerry -- Dean would get in Bush's face on day one and stay in it until election night. Dean would have raised hell, would have fought, would not have rolled over, or laid back, unresponsive, when the Rethugs started up their lie machine.

Dean would have FOUGHT! And more than anything else, Democrats need a fighter!
