The Repubs had worked really hard to tear down Kerry's credibility with the "flip-flop" charge. In effect, it is a character assassination, although it sounds rather soft as attack words in gerneral.

Bush neutralized that with his comment yesterday. However, they will have to wait a few days for it to settle before they can make the charge against Kerry again. It is a very damaging charge against any politician. Democrats should keep this story alive in the minds of voters for a while. Otherwise, the Repubs are waiting to put out the "flip-flop" charge again as soon as they can....
