Matthews you Whore...
He says that the culture in PA is turning against Kerry, and that Santorum is playing up to Tweety!

This is the most moronic evening I've ever spent...

And not that long ago he was everyones hero for slapping down Michelle "Internment Camps Are Good" Malkin. I believe at that time several people mentioned that his true self would come back.

So why is everyone so surprised, once a whore always a whore.

4. He's a chameleon. Pin him to a 'puke shirt and he turns red every time.
And, being a chameleon, that makes him a reptile--'nough said.

Matthews is fair actually. He gives it to both sides. Sorry I feel
compelled. He's is one of the FEW in the media who took the Swift Boat Liars to task. I give him credit as he deserves it.

9. I agree with you, but since yesterday he is drinking the Kool-aid again
He needs to watch himself on last weeks Bill Maher. He is sounding like a different person again falling for all the RNC crap they are spoonfeeding him.

11. I think he tries to remain impartial, that's his job. He's one of the few
that does it. And, when he "whores" for the dark side, I know it won't be long before he throws me a bone as well. :hi:

5. Here in PA, in a very republican area,
I see absolutely no evidence of the "culture" turning against Kerry.

Now Tweety's talking about the handsome man with the sun in his face. Marlboro Man...

What a...pansy.

And, what's more, I think his attack on the Swift boat liars was to position himself for a big week taking it up the wazoo at the Repuke Convention.

6. Some of us were hoping Chris would see the light...but
he seems to be the type of person that wants to be on the side of the winner and I think he thought Kerry was going to win for a while. Now he has decided that Bush is going to win and he's gonna be on the side of the winner....he thinks..:)

7. Matthews just implied that George Bush has victory in the bag
He was talking about 2008 and whether Hillary would run, also wondering which Republicans would run against her. That automatically implies that Kerry will not win. Brokaw immediately brought that assumption to Matthews' attention.

Let the pundits think that. They've only been wrong about a million times before.

15. Brokaw's a Dem...
he's tried to hid it over the years, but he's not quite over ot the dark side of the force. i remember him on election night 2000 looking very concerned for the process which would cheat a dem out of a chance to win...he knew something was up but couldn't and wouldn't bring it up.

Recall what Rather said in Europe - they would lynch him if he reported what he knew.

8. This is the most moronic evening I've ever spent...
Imagine how proper elections could be "if",

conventions didn't exist

you had debates between the candidates each week for the last 3 months of the encumbents term

polls were outlawed

people in the media were legally bound to report the news and not be talk show hosts.

I think these changes would bring us back to a proper electoral process.

Oh, and do away with the electoral college. It taints the whole process.

17. Years & years ago
when politics was better, John F.Kennedy & Barry Goldwater planned to campaign together in 1964. They were good friends.

They would debate all over the country.

And then things changed. LBJ ran the Daisy Commercial & TV ads have been dirty ever since.

i started this today so people would maybe stop and realize that he's not on our side. Everyday there are threads about how he redeemed himself and he hasn't.
