Terry McAuliffe needs to be replaced by Howard Dean.
Edited on Tue Aug-31-04 08:25 PM by Cascadian
I know there is another thread about Terry McAullife's appearance on Bully O'Reilly's show on Faux, but am I the only one here that thinks Terry McAullife should just step aside? I was just disappointed to the point of depression with his appearance. What a wimp! I really honestly think that Howard Dean would do a much better job at energizing the DNC and bringing more people into the party. He proved it last year and earlier this year. I honestly think Dean is right for DNC Chair.

5. If that's true, that kicks ass
Which, incidentally, is what we need to do more of. I'm all for cutting Kerry slack, but his spokespeople are not prepared to attack talking points that have been out for MONTHS.

3. Terry is stepping down after this election
He's already stated that. So maybe, just maybe, you and I will get that wish fulfilled.

6. He should have been dumped
after the dismal democratic showings in the 2000 bi-elections. Many of us have said this repeatedly, but for some reason Dems seem to hang onto him.

16. not a formal change
A formal change before the election would only be another distraction from JFK's message. Better to have Gov/Dr. Dean be an eminence grise at this time. After the inauguration of President Kerry, it would be great. McAullife would continue to raise money and Dean would shove the reactionaries back to the 19th century.
