Posted this last night and it slipped into archives... hope it's okay to repost this. It might help some people understand what is going on.


Here's a wise statement from Kentuck, an old timer here on DU... It's in response to yet ANOTHER negative thread bemoaning Kerry's supposed weak campaign:

"You are being influenced by the psychological warfare going on...

Nobody has cast any votes. Kerry is doing well in the polls. He has survived a major effort to derail his campaign. If they can get Kerry supporters to surrender without a shot fired, they love it like that."


Hat's off to Kentuck for nailing this on the head!

I'm one of the people very displeased with the direction the Kerry campaign has taken.

But I never surrendered.

I'm calling on Kerry to fight back. And I'm tying my additional contributions to his doing so.

That's not surrender.
