Here's an idea: HAVE SPEAKERS
What are the thoughts on the RNC playing commercial after commercial for GW? I remember the DNC and they had speaker after speaker. Is it as simple as the Republicans lack good speakers? Lack good issues to talk about? Anyone noticed the lack of enthusiasm the speakers are receiving too? The rich people just wanted a trip to New York and a president who will give them their tax cuts while everyone else gets screwed IMHO.

1. Correct on all counts.
The Republicans lack good speakers. Check.

The Republicans lack issues to discuss. Check.

The Republican delegates have the attention spans of field mice and can't be counted on to listen or applaud at appropriate times. Check.

Much better to run ads. Easier to control.

2. Definately a lack of enthusiasm.

Rod "Teachers are Terrorists" Paige is speaking now. CSPAN showed a kid sleeping and another playing his GameBoy.
I hate that "reporter" walking around talking to delegates. Both her and the people she interviews sound so...FAKE. Like it's completely scripted.

They're showing one now for NCLB.

3. If you look closer, you will notice that some people are indeed reading
straight from paper when they respond to the 'reporters'.
