Vets and Active GI's - Get a Clue!!
For those vets and GI's who are in love with Bush may I suggest they review several things: 1) the Bush-backed attacks on McCain's military service as a guest of the Hanoi Hilton; 2) the Bush-backed attacks on Kerry's service and medals in 'Nam; 3) the republican/Bush backed attacks on Max Cleland because he didn't leave enough limbs behind in 'Nam; 4) the way in which the republicans treat the needs of the veterans and the GI's and their families; 5) the mocking bandages defacing the Purple Heart. Now go bullshit yourself into thinking that Bush and the Republicans love you. You are a campaign slogan; you are a backdrop for pictures; you are fodder for their corporate wars; you don't exist as human beings to them; their number is rank in those who avoided service; they detest the class of folks you come from. Democrats have fought for years for you and your kin. It's about time you stopped crawling and stand up and fight for yourselves and your families. Until you understand who is the most insipid threat to this nation, you are fighting for it's enemies.

4. Ex Navy Here
This is what I say to an active or reserve member of the Armed Forces. I know you think Bush and the GOP’s expansion of the military budget will directly translate into you getting raises and promotions. This was true in the 80’s during the Reagan era but Bush and company what weapons and technology, not people. They look at the military through a business point of view. Businesses in America today consider their employees liabilities not assets. They want to outsource as much of the military as possible. They consider boots on the ground a liability not an asset. One day all members of the Armed Forces will return to the civilian work force by either not reenlisting or retiring. A military pension will not be enough for you to live on and you will have to enter the civilian work force. Bush and the GOP as systematically destroying the middle class which most of you will by aspiring to enter. If Bush and the GOP get reelected that door maybe shut forever.

6. beanball--how many times it has run through my mind that
I'd like to tell every kid to "just say no" when they ask you to sign up because of seeing the way in which these people not only dishonor veterans, they have nothing but look-down-their-noses contempt for them and it's obvious. They laugh at how they use these poor kids. I heard one the other day when I said that we will probably end up with the draft again laugh and say "naw--just wave the 'college' tuition crap in front of those stupid poor kids and you get them to sign up". Yep, no wonder they don't want to do shit about helping kids pay for tuition. They can get them to shed blood for their greedy corporations that way. No wonder so many of this scum never served. They laugh at the military. The military and their families are just low class trash to them that they can exploit.
