5. SC does not have party registration
any voter can vote in any primary, so this talk of keeping Democrats out of the primary is nothing but straight out intimidation

9. This race has been dirty from the beginning
the GOP incumbent opposes an Official County HOliday for Martin Luther King, so he has a vested interest in keeping minority voters away from the polls

10. WHAT????
What country do we live in? Have we become Zimbabwe? Somebody has to raise a huge stink about this. This is fascism at work right here. Any South Carolinians want to weigh in this story?

12. Here's what SC Democrats can do!!!!!!!!
The ones who didn't vote in your Dem primary, anyways: Go to your polling place, and as you sign in, tell the person that you are a Democrat and you want to be sure that it's ok to vote. If they say no, you can't vote if you are a Democrat, then say, "Well, I thought the rule says that I get to vote as long as I didn't vote in the Dem primary?"

Much fun should be had by all over the next 5 minutes or so!

18. It *is* "illegal" to vote if you voted in the Democratic Primary
That much is true. However, threatening to arrest the 2% of the people to whom that applies is pure intimidation and it's outrageous. It is intended to give ALL Democrats the idea that they are committing a crime by voting.

I didn't know that, thanks for the info.

I think the Repugs know they are going to lose. The desperation in their camp is reaching absurd degrees.
