Ok, its not offensive to everyone. But we must resist liberalism according to this website:

http://resistliberalism.wordpress.com/2008/06/04/if-obama-wins-we-will-be-like-france/

or Jesus will give us the middle finger

1. omg I've seen some crazy photoshop before, but this one
takes the cake. :wtf:

 I think Jesus gave me the middle finger when I was about 9 years old if he was really ever going to do it. What the heck kind of "Love thy neighbor as thyself" are these people preaching?

5. I think this could really catch on!
Isn't it amazing when people are so full of hate they are willing to desecrate their own religion?

Including Sarah Palin.

I'd always pictured Jesus as an F-U sorta guy!
you know, somebody turns the other cheek and then Jesus says, "F-U" and flips them the bird...

7. And that would be bad?
France was right about the Iraq War, they have a thriving middle class, very little poverty, everybody gets health care and they are a lot safer from terrorists than this country is.

I would think conservatives would like France, given their very strict immigration laws.

And they helped us kick the shit out of the British at Yorktown in 1781.

8. This reminds me of a joke.
A flood was coming and the townspeople were told to evacuate.

On couple refused to leave, saying "God will save us."

The waters begin to fill the streets. The rescuers come by in a vehicle and say "Get in! Save yourselves!"

"No. God will save us."

The waters rise. The rescuers come by in a rowboat and shout to the people in their second floor window: "Get in! Save yourselves!"

"No. God will save us.

Water, water, water.

Finally a rescue helicopter comes over and shouts to the couple, now on the roof: "Come with us! Save yourselves!"

"No. God will save us."

The waters rise and the couple drowns. They get to heaven and demand of God -- "you were supposed to save us!"

God said, I sent you a four wheel drive, a row boat and a helicopter, what more did you need?

So...if McCain wins and we shake our fists to the heavens, God will be saying "I sent you Barack Obama -- what more did you need?"

I'd consider the U.S. being more like France to be a good thing...

16. Blessed are the poor. Blessed are the meek, the merciful, and those who thirst for righteousness.
I stand here against those who distort and twist Christ's message. And I don't mean anyone here on DU. Because this is the most important message he ever conveyed, hands down:

Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Gospel of St. Matthew 5:3-10

19. Yep. I'm an agnostic, but see post 16. The Repukes have hijacked his message.
Whether you are a believer or not, they have twisted the New Testament so as to be unrecognizable. The core message in it is the Sermon on the Mount, and they not only dismiss it, they despise it.
