Arnold .... I really don't get it with this guy.

I am admittedly biased. But I have no idea what all the excitement is about him. Tweety was raving about his charisma or whatever before his speech, but I fail to see anything remotely extraordinaory about him. What some see as a great American story, I see as a buffoon.

Can anybody tell me what's so great about him?

1. Tweety was really gushing...
I thought he was going to need a clean pair of pants. I'm sure he's just sticking to his chair right now.

6. Shame-based latent homosexuality

He is a buffoon, a steroid junkie, and someone who, by his own admission, commits sexual harassment. Could it be his disarticulate speaking style; his ugly mug; his total lack of any acting talent. No, the folks like tweetie and all the others who talk about his charisma all have one thing in common -- they like looking at muscle bound morons posing in their underware. Of course, they can't say this, so they have to admire his characters' acting out the violence they (his boosters) feel towards themselves for being attracted to Arnold in the first place!

If his 'admirers' would just come out of the closet, they could have healthy, fulfilling relationships. But , noooo, they have to sublimate it in the form of hero worship of their cutie-pie.

10. I'm far more concerned about violence porn than sex porn ...
... porn is the demonstration of the human experience WITHOUT showing the consequences.

There are violent movies that rail against violence (Platoon). Then there are violent movies that glorify (most of Shwarzeneggar's work). Violence is ugly and terrible and must be portrayed that way. I want to see shattered faces and ruined lives with my violence.

The same thing extends to the WWF. They are the WORST purveyor of glorified violence out there. They simulate activities that would shatter bones and break necks. It never happens, but it encourages small boys to emulate these athletic circus clowns and encourages violent responses and violent reactions. Then people have the audacity to call REAL violence from Ultimate Fighting too graphic.

13. Thanks ...
...

I'm looking forward to seeing compound fractures and broken vertebrae in WWF wrestling. Then I'll take it seriously. Violence is sick and gross and any portrayal of violence needs to reflect that grossness.

Tarantino gets a bad rap for the violence in his movie. But I applaud Tarantino for the gut wrenching feelings it inspires. He doesn't glorify, he grosses you out. And thats a GOOD thing.

8. He has big muscles ...
... that's about it.

It's very telling that his #1 recurring role is that of a robot. It doesn't say much for his acting ability.

He's not even up to par with Sean Connery, and Connery really isn't that great of an actor anyway.

Arnold is not an actor. He's a live action figure. EVERY movie Arnold appears in, he is portrayed as a super-strong, super-minded individual. It's beyond his capability to portray the meak and vulnerable. Actors BECOME their characters. Arnold is just a piece of meat with poor diction.

SHIT, if Arnold was so fucking bright, he's learn how to apeak without the accent. Good actors can do ANY accent they want. Yes Ari Huffington has an accent too. But she isn't an actress.

12. What are you going to do meathead ???

Benchpress me???? They have to catch and hold be first.

People think muscle men are autmatically tough. Well, most of them do little or no cardio-vascular activity. All you need do is bait them into taking wild swings until they get tired. Their knees, throat, spine, temples, nose bridges, achilles heel, pits, solar-plexus, floating ribs, kidneys, eye sockets, etc... are just as vulnerable as every else's. The knees are my favorite though ;-)

I have no problem with lifters. I have a problem with asshole lifters who bully people with their bulk. They aint that special, and they aren't that tough.
