MSNBC: Herald Square Cleared Out...
I just saw the moran who jumped the Hardball set (the video is linked on another thread)...and now turned on After Hours and saw the crowd had been cleared from behind the set. Also I could see police vehicles around the set as well.

Anyone know who jumped on the set and any other details? I know there was a march on Faux tonight and the Freepers appear to be pissed at Tweety. Last night I could see the crowd was restless and I reckon it was just a matter of time something like this would happen.

4. Sad, but true.
They didn't like the folks talking down their convention last night, I'm sure.

2. I don't know who did it.
But I saw the commotion. All I know is that the set was suddenly full of cops.

3. Watched it on Tivo! Fineman's reaction was hyserical!
He looked like he was going to wet his pants! Tweety on the other hand was laughing the whole time. Fineman probaby needed a nitro after it, he was freaked out!

Live TV, gotta love it! Too bad the guys didn't knock Tweety's ass off his chair as they were rushing the set to tackle the guy! Now that would have been good TV!

Yep...Fineman looks like he's staring at death's door. LOL

I could tell the RNC was busing people in last night...it was obvious when Frist was on...there was nothing but people in suits...SUITS!...in the background. This is Herald Square, not Wall Street...and you could sense the tension was building in the crowd all evening long.

NBC knew this could be trouble when they set these things up. Opening up a camera on a crowd is asking for people to do stupid things. Usually it's the insane hand waiving, but you could see in Boston the crowd were getting rowdier and more partisan every night. With all those protesters still hanging around town and a ton of GOOP goons on the loose, I'm surprised we're not hearing about more altercations.
