4. Huh?
:wtf:

I won't even go into the many reasons to NOT hold all the primaries on one day right now, but, what makes you conclude that if we did, We wouldn't be in a friggin' nail biter right now ??

6. Media fueled momentum
and "the scream" carried Kerry after Iowa. If the primaries were held on the same day there is no question that the results would have been different.

Stick your head in the sand if you'd like, but I can't. Kerry should have been able to rip * a new one by now and he can't.

We took the third stringer that the media handed us and we're sucking wind...

7. I'm sorry but just because you can imagine an alternate reality
doesn't mean it would have any likelyhood of happening. If the primaries had all been held on the same day, all the candidates would have pursued different strategies -- in fact, the situation would have been so different, there is no way any of us could predict the outcome. Who knows, without the early NH primary next to his home state, and faced with a national primary, maybe Dean wouldn't even have run for President -- thre is simply no way for us to know what would have happened.

As far as your doom and gloom predictions, I'll bet you $100 Kerry is inaugurated on January 20. I could stand to recoup some of my campaign contributions...

5. I was a Howard Dean supporter during the primaries
I am GLAD John Kerry is the nominee.

IMO, nobody in the Democratic field could have a chance of winning other than John Kerry. I was wrong to support Dean and wish I had been a Kerry supporter from day one.

10. Waaaah
My candidate didn't win so I'm goin to whine about it.

The media didn't hand anyone anything. If you want to blame someone blame those that voted in the primaries.

Also, if you think any of the candidates would have been treated any better you're nuts. The media would have skewered whomever got the nomination.
