Our "Power" will come from voting registration.
Have you taken a few minutes to do a little "Jay Walking"? Most of our everyday, hardworking American does not follow the campaigns like we do.....we are the exception, not the norm. I have been out on the streets and see that there is an untapped group with a keen interest into wanting to vote but just need a little guidance, encouragement and a thank you.

Go out there and get folks registered to vote NOW. See for your self. Take voter registration forms with you when you go to the store, drive-thru,work and classes in college.

Most just know, vaguely, who the candidates are.....they never watch CNN, MSNBC, C-Span or Fox..... They are starting to pick-up on things. I'm taking a car/SUV full of folks to the Kerry Midnight Rally in Springfield, Ohio on Thursday!

Try it. Please....see for yourself....It works!

This is the most useful and powerful action any of us can do. When it all boils down....only the one with the most votes win....*most of the time).

2. Yes, it is what they basicly can not control.......
Especially the working class population. We can capture our neighbhoods...step-by-step.....vote by vote.

The next step is to be sure they know where to vote and to get there butts at the polls.

But first....get them registered.

3. agree, great idea
it's something we can all do on our own. it doesn't depend on the media.

those who watch cable tv news all day are those who are most likely already decided and the partisans.

but the true undecideds and swing voters are those who don't pay attention that closely to politics. little things like seeing lots of signs or bumper stickers, or just word of mouth stuff which is positive about a candidate can influence them.

Call the local Board of Elections. They will give you registration forms, voting information literature and deadline dates.

You can go to Office Max and get a clip board! I take the completed forms down weekly.....I also make a list of folks that may wish that I contact them in follow-up. As a resource person.

I guess this is like voters-case management!

Ohio's deadline is October 2, 2004 but I'm targeting September 30, 2004. 30 days pre-election.

I heard some states it is 60.....so some are out of luck.
